The whole world smells like
leaves burning in the gutter and
cigarette smoke. & as you race down the cloud

slightly beyond my peripheral vision that
probably isn't there (physically) some
intangable & contagious smile you give someone you love
even though you don't really feel like smiling but
you do anyway even though you practically have to staple the corners of your mouth up to do so.
